Sadna is evaluating the anti-tumor efficacy of strategies combining immune checkpoint blockade and targeted therapies in breast cancer and melanoma. Her focus is on the role of extracellular adenosine and hypoxia within the tumor microenvironment in modulating effector T cell responses. She is also developing new methodologies to quantitatively image and assess immune effects.
